πŸ“’ Just launched 3 New Teas!

I’m so excited to share that I’ve just launched 3 new teas. These teas have been in the making for a while now and I’m excited to finally launch them.

The reason why I’m so excited about these new teas is that they are made using tea bags that are completely plastic free and plant based. The tea bags are biodegradable and can be thrown into your food bin.

I have been on a mission to try to make my teas as sustainable as possible and I’m so happy to finally have reached this stage where I can launch more tea bags that are sustainable.

Rose, Chamomile and Lavender Pyramid Plant Based Plastic Free Tea Bags

One of my most popular blends is the rose, chamomile and lavender tea blend. So many of you love this sleep herbal tea, however, I’ve had several people request for these in tea bags as the loose leaf rose chamomile and lavender blend may not be as convenient for those who lack time.

The reason we get told loose leaf tea is best is because paper tea bags usually have plastic in them and may take a long time to decompose. I’m happy to say that these new tea bags are biodegradable and can be thrown into your food bin. They will decompose within 6 months to 1 year.

This sleep tea, rose chamomile and lavender is the perfect bedtime blend for calm and sleep. The chamomile is not too overpowering and all the florals mix well together for a lovely fragrant tea. You can add honey too for a delicious sweet floral taste.

Everyday Brew – English Breakfast Tea with Pure Kenya Tea and Assam Tea

Another blend I’ve been super excited to launch is this English breakfast tea blend. So what makes this tea exciting and different to what’s already out there?

Well, I have tried a multitude of black teas from all around the world including East Africa, India, Srilanka amongst many others and I can say that Kenyan tea easily takes the win.

Thing is, even in Kenya, there are particular regions and companies that produce different qualities of Kenyan tea.

As I grew up in East Africa, I know exactly which company produces the best quality tea and lucky for you, I have procured this tea because I’m all about the best quality blends. They don’t just supply to anyone but I’m excited to share that they have supplied this to me especially for you.

This is a combination of Kenya tea and Assam for that strong tea that packs a punch in the early morning for focus. Ever tried to make a black tea with milk and it just doesn’t have the deep brown shade to it?

This tea bag is so strong, you can probably use it twice! You’ll definitely taste the difference to your usual black tea.

Once again, these tea bags are plant-based, biodegradable and plastic free.

This Everyday breakfast brew has caffeine in it. Black tea is rich in antioxidants and is still a healthy beverage to have in moderation, especially when you need that kick in the morning or an afternoon pick me up.

Blue Butterfly Pea Flower and Lavender Tea Bags

Drum-rollllll…. and yes! The tea bags I’ve wanted to introduce for over a year!

These blue butterfly pea flower and lavender tea bags are extra special too because if you’ve tried butterfly pea flower tea, you’ll know it looks beautifully blue but has a bland/not so great taste.

Adding lavender to this blue butterfly pea flower tea is the perfect combination. It’s not over-powering but adds a sweet note to the butterfly pea flower tea taste.

Butterfly pea flowers are so so rich in anthocyanins (antioxidants) that are responsible for giving it that deep blue colour. These anthocyanins fight free radicals and if I may say so may help delay pre-mature aging. It is usually the free radicals that cause oxidative stress that make us older!
