Easy Fruity Oats with Blueberries, Banana, Grapes, Pomegranate and Chia Seeds – Vegan Vegetarian Breakfast Recipes

Feeling fruity? πŸ™‚ I have those days when I just want to consume nothing but fruits and feel healthy. These fruit breakfast oats are perfect for such days – you know when the sun is shining and life is good. (For rubbish days, I prefer chocolatey oats) πŸ˜›

As always, these oats were ready in 10mins including all the fruit prep. It is a quick, easy and nutritious meal for breakfast lovers and keeps you going for atleast 3 hours.

It’s perfect for both vegans and vegetarians as I did not use any milk. You can always use non-dairy milk but it may overpower the blueberry oats mix flavour.




50g raw oats

Handful of blueberries


Pomegranate arils


Chia seeds

Water as required

Sweetener (Honey/Maple Syrup/any other)



Add the blueberries, oats, water and chia seeds to a pan and cook. You can opt to also add the sweetener here or after garnishing.

Continuously stir until the oats are cooked. Normally takes about 2-4 minutes. Also, squash the blueberries as you cook the oats. Cook until you have the required oatmeal consistency.

Once ready, pour into your bowl. Garnish with grapes, banana, pomegranate arils, grapes. Add sweetener on top if required and enjoy hot!

I like to have a cup of green tea on the side along with my oats to wash them down πŸ™‚
