🥭 The only iced matcha you need this summer 🍵
✨ Vegan and no added sugar - wholesome goodness.
One of the best combinations of iced matcha is matcha with mango and this iced drink did not disappoint. You can thank me later.
Ingredients
1 ripe mango
Water
Handful of cashew nuts
Chopped dates
Better Food Mood Lion`s mane matcha
Ice
Recipe:
Make the matcha. Add 2/3 tsp of lions mane matcha to a bowl. Add 30ml hot water and whisk until ready. Keep aside.
Make the homemade cashew milk. Soak the cashews in water for a few hours. Rinse and then add to your blender, add chopped dates, water and blend till it has a milk like texture.
Make mango juice. Use 1 ripe and sweet mango, place its pulp in a blender and blend until juice like.
1) In a glass, first add the mango pulp.
2) Add ice.
3) Add the cashew milk.
4) Add the whisked matcha tea.
And you`ll just have made one of the funniest iced matcha drinks to start your day. Super yum! 🍵🥭✨

💛🤍 Intentional Work Life Balance 🤍🩵
10 days of doing what I love - if you`ve been following me, you`ll know I`m a workaholic and I had to force myself to book this holiday despite knowing the work wasn`t done yet.
I normally take a half yearly break just to reflect, make sure I`m on the right track and how things need to change so that I`m heading in the right direction.
I really had a lot of fun, the world is so beautiful .. but I wasn`t able to switch off completely.
Despite trying my best to plan and organise so that I wouldn`t have to work on holiday, I spent 50% of the time stressing and trying to get things done - because of other people`s inefficiencies (Not one company but multiple companies)
This is one of those things that we can`t control and yet we somehow have to try to make things happen because there are deadlines looming. Another one of those entrepreneurial challenges.
So all in all, even though it wasn`t perfect, I`m glad I still got some time off. Tomorrow, I`m back to work. Sharing some of my favourite things with you 💖💖

🩷 Ruby Moon Milk for relaxation and calm on hot days 🩷
This Ruby moon milk is a recipe I`ve created that`s inspired from the original Ayurvedic Ashwagandha moon milk for relaxation and calm.
Moon milk has traditionally been used in Ayurveda to help with sleep.
In this Ruby moon milk powder blend, I`ve used Rose which is calming, Ashwagandha for relaxation and spices which gives it a chai like taste. It also has magnesium glycinate which is really beneficial for a good sleep quality and easing anxiety.
Normally, it`s prepared hot but given the heatwave we are experiencing in the UK, here`s a cooling recipe that`s delicious and refreshing on a hot summer`s evening.
🩷 Recipe 🩷
💖 Add 1/2 tsp of this moon milk blend to 1 cup of milk in a pan. Heat on a medium flame until it`s just about to boil. Stir so that the blend mixes well within the milk.
🥛 I used coconut milk for this video but I actually prefer oat milk. It tastes better. Traditionally, this is prepared with milk, you can use semi-skimmed milk. Feel free to use your choice of milk.
🍭 Add sweetener if you like and leave it to cool in the fridge.
🧊 You`ll need to prepare the ice-cubes beforehand. I used a heart icecube tray and placed some rose petals along with the water in the tray so that the ice hearts have rose petals within them 😊 I just like Romanticising life 💗
Rose is used in both Ayurveda (Indian traditional medicine) and Chinese traditional medicine for cooling and calming effects.
To prepare, add the ice hearts in a glass, pour over the moon milk and enjoy 💕
