Picture the highlands of Kenya, a cool breeze with tea fields as far as the eye can see. A farmer handpicks tea leaves which she has grown on her own small farm with hard work and care to bring a little bit of Kenya to your doorstep. Our Kenyan tea is sourced from small scale farmers.

Purple Kenyan Tea is different to your usual Kenyan tea because the leaves are reddish – purple in colour. These contain high levels of anthocyanin compounds similar to those in blueberries, purple grapes etc. that are high in antioxidants.

Add 1 tbsp of loose leaves to your pot for 1 cup of tea. Pour hot boiling water into your teapot and steep for 3 – 5 minutes. Place a strainer over your teacup and pour the tea through the strainer into your cup. Add lemon juice or a slice of lemon to watch your tea turn from a greenish hue to a reddish hue.
